For the 5th edition of Reims Polar, the chief Philippe Mille will present a special screening of Mark Mylod’s The Menu.

Philippe Mille

Bronze Bocuse winner in 2009 and Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2011, Philippe Mille embodies the excellence of French gastronomy. After honing his skills alongside the greatest chefs and earning two Michelin stars, he embarks on a new adventure to offer a more personal interpretation of his cuisine. As the chef-owner of Arbane, he invites guests to celebrate Champagne through creations that reveal the very essence of the region.

A couple travels to a remote island to dine at one of the hottest restaurants around, along with other hand-picked guests. The tasty menu concocted by the chef will have surprises in store for them as astonishing as they are radical…

Mark Mylod

Born in Newton Abbot in England, Mark Mylod has made several television programs in the United States and the United Kingdom, largely for the BBC. He shot his first feature film in 2002, the comedy Ali G Indahouse with Sacha Baron Cohen in the title role, then worked for various series such as Entourage, Shameless, Game of Thrones and Succession, directing numerous episodes. The Menu is his fourth feature film.
