Sandra Guidry is living and working in a rural Montana college town. She’s also grieving her recently deceased mother, for whom she’d served as primary caretaker. One day, she confronts two hunters she catches trespassing on her property and is drawn into an escalating battle of wills with catastrophic consequences.

Julian Higgins

Born in 1985 in New Hampshire, he holds a BFA in Film from Emerson College and an MFA in Directing from the American Film Institute. He currently teaches directing at both institutions. His short films won dozens of prizes, including the Gold Medal Student Academy Award. His short Winter Light was a top ten finalist for the 2016 Oscars. God’s Country is his feature debut.
