Patrick Jamain (1944 – 2023)
Born in Chateauroux, Patrick Jamain began his career in the film industry as an assistant director to Sergio Gobbi with whom he shot The Heist (1969), Love Me Strangely (1971) and Les Voraces (1973). Also producer, Sergio Gobbi allowed him to direct his first feature film L’Affaire Crazy Capo in 1973. Patrick Jamain will then work for television. In 1985, he returned to the big screen with the thriller Honeymoon. Subsequently, he directed nearly thirty episodes of the Navarro series, but also numerous episodes of series such as Frank Riva, Marc Eliot or Quai n°1.
