Robert Harmon
He studied film at Boston University, then moved to Los Angeles to work as still photographer before directing his first short film, China Lake. He got recognition in 1986 with his first feature film, The Hitcher, which won the Grand Prize that year at the Cognac Thriller Film Festival. He then directed several other genre films, but also crime series Jesse Jones and Blue Bloods.
