Adilkhan Yerzhanov
Born in 1982 in Jezqazğan, Kazakhstan, he graduated from the Kazakh National Academy of Arts as a film director. After three acclaimed short films, he directed his feature debut Realtors in 2011. His third film, The Owners, was presented at the Festival de Cannes in 2014, and his sixth one, The Gentle Indifference of the World, at Un Certain Regard in 2018. His thirteen film Assault won the 2022 Reims Polar Grand Prize.
