David Mackenzie
After studying at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee, Scotland, David Mackenzie, wrote and directed Young Adam, starring Ewan McGregor and Tilda Swinton. Presented at Un Certain Regard and the Telluride Film Festival in 2003, the film won 4 Scottish BAFTA Awards. His next films include in particular Hallam Foe, 2007 Berlin Silver Bear, Comancheria, a comtemporary western nominated for four Academy Awards in 2017, and Relay (2025), with Riz Ahmed and Lily James.
