Kei Ishikawa

Born in 1977 in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture, he graduated in physics from Tōhoku University. He then studied direction at the National Film School in Lodz, Poland. Back in Japan, he worked on several documentary and short films before directing in 2017 his feature debut Traces of Sin, adapted from a novel by Nukui Tokuro. A Man is his fourth feature film.
