Stéphane Demoustier
Born in 1977 in Lille, France, he shot several short films before directing in 2014 his first feature film, 40-Love, screened at the Venice Film Festival, then the medium-length film Allons enfants, selected at the Berlinale in 2017. His second feature, The Girl with a Bracelet, was presented at the 2019 Locarno Festival and won the César for Best Adaptation. He also worked on two seasons of the series L’Opéra, broadcast on OCS and has just directed the first four episodes of the series Cimetière indien, which will be broadcast this year on Canal+. Borgo is his third feature film.
