Fenar Ahmad
Born in 1981 in Czechoslovakia to immigrant Iraqi parents, his family emigrated to Denmark where he studied film in the Super16 alternative film school. In 2010, his short film Megaheavy won Best Short Fiction at the Robert Film Awards (the Danish Oscars). Four years later, he directed Flow, his feature debut, starring Danish rapper Kian Rosenberg Larsson, better known as Gilli. In 2017, he made the action thriller Darkland, prequel to Darkland: The Return, which was a big hit in Denmark.
