Cécilia Rouaud
After a master’s degree in modern literature, she began her career in the film industry as an assistant on Gérard Jugnot’s Most Promising Young Actress (2000) and then worked alongside filmmakers such as Patrice Chéreau and Cédric Klapisch. In 2003, she wrote and directed her first short film, Lapin intégral, starring Hélène de Fougerolles. Her feature debut, Low Profile, was released in 2012 and brought on screen Denis Ménochet, Vanessa Paradis, Léa Drucker and Laurent Lucas. She made in 2018 her second film Photo de famille with Vanessa Paradis, Camille Cottin and Pierre Deladonchamps in the main roles. Killing Blues is her third feature film.
