Lieutenant Hermes Papauran, one of the Philippines’ top investigators, finds himself in a deep moral crossroads. As a member of law enforcement, he is a privileged witness to the deadly anti-drug campaign that his institution is dedicatedly leading. The atrocities corrode Hermes physically and spiritually, causing him to develop a severe skin condition that results from anxiety and guilt. As he tries to heal, a dark past haunts him and eventually returns for a trial.
